Guild Esports announces sponsorship agreement with Coca-Cola

Partnerships

 • The UK-based esports organization Guild Esports (Guild) has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola as its “official soft drinks and hydration partner.” The terms of the agreement, including which Coca-Cola products will be promoted, remained undisclosed.

 • This makes Coca-Cola the sixth sponsor for Guild following Bitstamp, Razer, Samsung, Subway, and HyperX. The company claims that it is the first-ever European esports organization to secure a global sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola.

Analyst QuickTake: The new sponsorship follows Guild’s three-year USD 4.5 million (~USD 6.1 million) partnership with crypto exchange Bitstamp earlier this year . Backed by David Beckham, sponsorship revenue has been a key revenue generator for Guild since its inception. In FY2021, it reported more than GBP 1 million (~USD 1.4 million) in sponsorship revenue, which accounted for 55% of total revenue.
