Blendid and Jamba to deploy smoothie-making robots at Love’s Travel Stop locations

Partnerships

 • Blendid, a smoothie-making robotic kiosk developer, and its partner Jamba, a lifestyle brand serving smoothies, juices, bowls, and bites, have partnered with truck stops and convenience store company Love’s Travel Stop to deploy their co-branded smoothie-making robots at the latter’s locations.

 • The companies will initially pilot a unit at a Love’s Travel Stop location in Williams, California later this year targeting commuters, travelers, and professional truck drivers. They plan to expand the service to include more locations in California in the future.

Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news builds on Blendid and Jamba’s initial deployments in retail locations and universities. They currently operate units at two Walmart stores and a shopping mall in California as well as at two university locations in Georgia. The necessary funds for the expansion were made available to the company in September 2021, when it raised USD 2 million via a crowdfunding campaign partially to expand its presence in California by opening in a range of locations including retail stores.
