Sativus Tech Corp successfully grows high quality saffron at its vertical farms

Product updates

  • Sativus Tech Corp (previously known as Seedo Corp), an Israeli hydroponics-based vertical farming company, has announced that it has grown the highest quality saffron in the current growth cycle based on results from an independent evaluation.

  • Results also showed that saffron could be grown in a three-month growth cycle, supporting the company’s aim of completing four cycles per year, compared to traditional agriculture’s single cycle per year.

  • The results are also a green light for Sativus’ global expansion plans, with the company launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the construction of its first large-scale saffron vertical farm. The company aims to create a reliable supply chain for saffron and target multiple sectors including retail, pharmaceutical, culinary, and beauty and wellness.
