Lypid, a California-based developer of designer plant-based fats for use in alternative meat production, has partnered with Taiwan’s largest coffee chain Louisa Coffee to offer a new range of plant-based burgers made using Lypid’s flagship product PhytoFat.
The collaboration will offer six types of sandwiches, rice burgers, muffins, and bagels featuring the new burger range. These will be accessible at 500 locations across Taiwan.
Following the collaboration, Lypid intends to expand into additional sales channels and markets within the next year by continuing to partner with food and beverage brands to introduce dishes that feature PhytoFat.
