Proof of Impact raises USD 6 million in pre-series A funding round

Funding

  • Proof of Impact, an Impact-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform for ESG-driven data, has raised USD 6 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Rakuten Capital. This brings the company’s total funding to USD 8.3 million.

  • The proceeds of the funding will be used to scale up go-to-market commitments focused on private credit and private equity managers. The funds will also be allocated to expand Proof of Impact’s IaaS finance-driven solutions and product development efforts, which include blockchain-based technologies, such as proprietary impact oracles.

  • The round was supported by new investors Franklin Templeton Blockchain Fund, Five T, Blockrocket VC, and Advaita Capital. Existing investors Franklin Templeton Advisors, CV VC, Working Capital Fund, Asiri, and Oxford Angel Fund also participated in the round.
