Stride raises USD 6.7 million in seed funding

Funding

  • Stride, Cosmos-based staking protocol, raised USD 6.7 million in seed funding led by North Island VC, Distributed Global, and Pantera Capital.

  • The company plans to use the funds to add to its engineering team to help develop the protocol. It also plans to hire one to two cybersecurity engineers to focus on enhancing the security of the platform

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake : Stride (which has reportedly been audited by blockchain security firms CertiK and Oak Security) is placing high emphasis on investing in the cybersecurity of its platform as incidents continue to occur in the DeFi space. Some of the most notable ones over the last few months being; 1) the theft of USD 8.8 million from Crema Finance in July 2) USD 3.8 million from XCarnival and 3) USD 1.2 million from Inverse Finance in June. </ul>
