xFarm Technologies, a Switzerland-based digital farming solutions company, has raised EUR 17 million (~USD 17.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by Swisscom Ventures. Existing investor United Ventures and new investors Neva SGR, Emerald Technology Ventures, and Grey Silo Ventures also participated in the round.
The funds will be used to add new features that support farmers to adopt sustainability practices, increase availability of its product for expansion across Europe and the US, and to expand its team to 80 employees from 60 in 2022.
Following the round, Alexander Schlaepfer, partner at Swisscom Ventures, also joined xFarm’s board of directors.
