Injective, a blockchain built for finance, has raised USD 40 million in a funding round led by Jump Crypto with participation from Brevan Howard Digital. This brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 56.7 million.
The company intends to use the funds to support Injective developers, build critical toolkits, and support software systems and upgrades to strengthen its ecosystem.
Injective is a startup that offers an open interoperable blockchain platform for DeFi applications. It aims to optimize and build DeFi applications such as exchanges, derivatives, prediction markets, and options while allowing DeFi developers to build and launch dApps. It also provides traditional finance infrastructure and is interoperable with layer 1s, including Ethereum, Evmos, Axelar, and Moonbeam.
