Produze, an Indian startup offering a digital platform to connect farmers across international markets, has raised USD 2.6 million in a seed funding round led by Accel and All In Capital. Angel investors including Thirukumaran Nagarajan (CEO and founder of Ninjacart) and Kartheeswaran KK also participated in the round.
The funds will reportedly be used to develop the company’s distribution network, expand procurement sources, and strengthen its team.
Produze reports that it is currently setting up offices and last-mile distribution facilities in Europe and the US and plans to launch fruits and vegetables in the coming weeks. It also plans to source produce from countries other than India.
