Lemonade selects Mitchell International’s claims management platform to optimize its auto insurance business

  • Lemonade, a full-stack insurer that provides a range of insurance products such as renters, homeowners, life, car, and pet insurance, has selected Mitchell International’s claims management platform to streamline and optimize its auto insurance business–Lemonade Car. 

  • Through the integration of Mitchell’s claims management platform, Lemonade aims to deliver an efficient claims experience to customers through the automation and online delivery of auto physical damage claims including loss reporting, loss profiling and triage, and damage appraisal. 

  • Lemonade will also leverage Mitchell's auto casualty injury claims processing solutions to automate both first-party auto and third-party liability claims. 

  • Mitchell International is a provider of smart technology solutions and services to the auto insurance, collision repair, disability and workers' compensation markets, and works with over 300 insurance providers, 20,000 collision repair facilities, and 70,000 pharmacies.

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Lemonade launched its auto insurance services in November 2021 and is currently available in Ohio, Illinois, and Tennessee. However, after acquiring auto insurer–Metromile in July 2022 , Lemonade now possesses licenses to expand its auto insurance services to 49 states.</ul>
