For Terex, the acquisition supports its environmental business and environment, social, and governance (ESG) goals, with ZenRobotics’ products being added to the Terex portfolio in global waste.
Post-acquisition, ZenRobotics will retain its name and operate as a Terex brand. The business unit will report to Tony Devlin, who leads the Terex MP environmental businesses.
Founded in 1933, the Terex Group is a listed global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, utility industry equipment, materials processing machinery, and tower and rough terrain cranes. The material processing business, which is based in Northern Ireland, designs and builds products for materials management applications. The business unit also operates a Terex Recycling System, which provides customers with a tailored one-stop shop to meet their recycling needs.
