May Mobility raises USD 111 million in Series C funding

  • May Mobility, a developer of autonomous shuttle services, has closed its Series C round raising USD 111 million. The round was led by Mirai Creation Fund II with participation from Tokio Marine, Toyota Tsusho, Bridgestone Americas, and Toyota Ventures, among others. This brings the company’s total raised capital to USD 194.6 million.

  • The company intends to use the funds to expand its engineering team, enhance global market reach, and invest in further product development. The company intends to deploy its self-driving technology on Toyota’s platforms, including the “Sienna Autono-MaaS,” and commence driverless operations by 2023.

<ul><li>The company first announced the initial closing of its Series C round in January this year , raising USD 83 million led by Mirai Creation Fund II.</ul>
