Bicycle Health and Tele 911 partner to increase care for opioid use disorder in emergencies

Partnerships

  • Telepsychiatry platform Bicycle Health and emergency telehealth and ambulance transport healthcare optimizer Tele 911 have partnered to optimize the care provided to emergency patients with issues stemming from or in addition to opioid use disorder. Through the partnership Licensed Social Workers who respond to 911 calls, from patients who are suffering from an overdose or other opioid use disorder-related symptoms, will assess the level of care the patient requires and refer them to Bicycle Health for long-term support and care.

  • This partnership aims to reduce unnecessary ambulance-related costs and overcrowding hospital ERs by providing care to patients from their respective locations.
