New Culture enters strategic partnership with ADM to scale up animal-free dairy production

Partnerships

  • New Culture, a California-based startup producing animal-free dairy by using precision fermentation, announced it has entered a strategic partnership with global food ingredients leader Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) to scale up and expedite the commercialization efforts of its alternate dairy products.

  • Together, the companies will work on the development of alternative dairy products by leveraging ADM’s product development resources together with New Culture’s production methods. New Culture will also get full access to the ADM’s extensive range of sustainable ingredients.

  • ADM will further help New Culture to commercialize its plant-based mozzarella in the US by 2023, starting with pizzerias as well as making its fermentation and dairy production operations available to meet the increasing demand as New Culture’s commercial presence increases.
