KeyCare Inc. raised USD 24 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Technology service provider KeyCare Inc. has raised USD 24 million in a Series A funding round with participation from 8VC, LRVHealth, Bold Capital, and Spectrum Health Ventures.

  • The funds will be used to hire additional staff and to scale its operations in expectation of a surge in demand for its services from larger health organizations.

  • Illinois-based KeyCare Inc provides a virtual care platform that allows health systems to reroute patients to independent virtual care providers across different specialities.  The platform operates on Epic, an EHR software system for healthcare providers, and allows patients to schedule virtual consultations via their own health system’s “MyChart portal”, another tool on Epic, or through their call center. The visit is also carried out on the Epic platform. Since its launch in July 2022, the firm has partnered with BHSH System’s Spectrum Health West Michigan Division.
