Vetster, a Canadian virtual veterinary and pet care marketplace, announced that it has expanded its services to the UK.
The company intends to offer its services to address the growing demand for telehealth services in the UK market.
This is backed by research the firm conducted earlier this year in March 2022 in partnership with research firm 3Gem, where 150 veterinary service providers were surveyed to identify the sentiment for telehealth services in the UK. The survey revealed that vets were overbooked and not in a position to take on new patients.

Analyst QT: The expansion to the UK builds on Vetster’s success in the North American market. The company secured USD 30 million in Series B funding in April 2022 to expand its services in the US and entered into an exclusive US fulfillment partnership with online pet pharmacy and delivery service provider PetMeds in July 2022.
