Vuzix to release new VR headset “Blade 2” in September

  • Vuzix has announced that “Blade 2”, the second generation of its AR glasses “Blade”, will be released in September 2022. The glasses will be sold on the company’s website for USD 1300 across the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Japan. 

  • The headset, configured exclusively for industrial usage, will run with a Qualcomm quad-core ARM processor that runs Android 11 to support a large variety of enterprise-focused apps, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity that supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidths, mobile device management (MDM) support, and 40GB of integrated storage. It also includes additional features such as noise-canceling microphones, high-definition cameras, and integrated stereo.
