Salesforce launches Salesforce Easy, a CRM for SMBs

  • Salesforce, the largest player in the global CRM market, announced the launch of Salesforce Easy, a new CRM platform offering a range of CRM solutions geared for small and medium-scale businesses (SMBs). 

  • The new platform provides a self-service purchasing option, enabling users to trial and purchase relevant solutions across the sales, email outreach, and customer service functions. The platform also provides access to an app ecosystem, where it can be integrated with Slack, Google, and Microsoft 365 to streamline contact uploading, email syncing, and calendar management. 

  • The firm claims that this offers a more affordable solution to small businesses while providing the flexibility to expand the platform’s functionality at their own pace as the business needs evolve.

Analyst QuickTake: The high cost and degree of complexity of enterprise CRMs including Salesforce’s solutions have been key enablers for disruptors providing more affordable CRM solutions geared for SMBs to flourish. The launch of Salesforce Easy, which claims to offer a simplified solution, and with a starting price tag of USD 25 per month, potentially makes it a viable contender in the SME CRM space.
