Wejo, a mobility data provider, announced that it has been selected by The Eastern Transportation Coalition (TETC) to join its Traffic Data Marketplace (TDM). This would enable it to provide its smart mobility insights and connected vehicle data to departments of transportation (DoTs) and other public agencies that are part of the coalition.
TETC is a partnership between 17 states in the US and Washington DC focused on connecting more than 100 public agencies on mobility matters, with a focus on transportation systems management and operations, freight, and innovation. The TDM provides members with access to real-time travel data and was recently relaunched with Wejo being one of the 12 data vendors.
Wejo claims that the TDM represents a significant revenue opportunity over the next four years and hopes to provide public agencies with reliable travel time and speed data for their roadways without the need for sensors and other hardware.

Analyst QuickTake: The new partnership is likely to further strengthen Wejo’s topline and operating performance, supporting the achievement of its full-year 2022 revenue targets, which it upgraded in July 2022 and reaffirmed in Q2 2022 . It expects to achieve a revenue of USD 10 million (285%+ YoY growth), while its adjusted EBITDA (loss) guidance was upgraded to USD 85 million–95 million.
