Payfit, a French HR and payroll platform, announced that it raised EUR 90 million (USD 107 million) in a Series D funding round led by Eurazeo Growth and Bpifrance. The round also included participation from Accel, Frst, and individual investor Xavier Niel.
The round follows what the company claims to have been a 40% growth year in 2020. The fresh capital will be allocated to platform development and growth by hiring 250 employees in 2021. New features in the product pipeline include weekly meetings and employee feedback integrations.
Founded in 2015, the platform’s services include benefits, onboarding, expenses, and shift management, in addition to payroll. The platform also provides compliance services and remains up to date on regulatory changes. The company focuses on small and medium enterprises, with its clientele reported in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the UK. The company currently has 5,000 clients across a client employee base of 100,000.
