Patient engagement enabler Kyruus has acquired technology service provider Epion Health for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition was carried out to create an all-inclusive patient access and customer engagement solution for healthcare providers and organizations.

The combined entity will provide solutions that cover the entirety of a patient’s journey including patient access, care coordination, online scheduling, payment collection, and digital engagement solutions. Providers on Epion Health’s platform will also gain access to Kryuus’ patient engagement tools while Kryuus will integrate Epison’s features such as its telehealth solutions. When combined Kyruus and Epion Health will support over 500 health systems and medical groups.

Kryuus provides patient engagement tools which facilitate healthcare providers and organizations attracting patients. The company provides tools such as its modern provider search, scheduling, and payer syndication solutions. The company also provides data management facilities to ensure patients using the search feature identify the right care providers. Its search tool covers over 300,000 providers. 

Epion Health is also a patient engagement solutions provider that facilitates telehealth consultations, offers digital concierge services, and operates using digital targeted workflows. The platform currently has over 11,000 healthcare providers using its platform and services.
