Taqtile raises USD 5 million

Funding

  • Taqtile has raised USD 5 million in a preferred equity round from investors including Mesmerise, Downer Group, Bellevue, 5G Open Innovation Lab, and Ascend. This follows a USD 200,000 funding round in April 2022 bringing the company’s total funding to USD 10.3 million.

  • The proceeds will be used to increase sales and marketing efforts, strengthen engineering and development teams, and expand its global footprint through its partnership network.

  • Analyst QuickTake : Taqtile joins XR-based training solution providers such as Strivr and Transfr VR in raising funds over the past few months. Transfr VR targets educational institutions, while Strivr mainly offers solutions for workplace training. Moreover, Strivr exclusively uses Oculus headsets for its VR experiences while Taqtile’s advantage lies in being compatible with Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap.
