WayaPay, a neobank serving African immigrants in the US, announced the launch of digital banking and money transfer services after having received the necessary regulatory approvals.
The bank claims that users of the app can open bank accounts within minutes and send money to mobile wallets in more than ten countries in Africa for free. It also allows users to make purchases via the app by linking bank cards.
WayaPay plans to provide other financial services like credit, savings accounts, and investment products for immigrants in the future.
