Fisker and Wallbox partner for home EV charging solutions

Partnerships

  • Fisker, an NYSE-listed EV manufacturer, has selected Wallbox, an NYSE-listed Spanish EV charging infrastructure manufacturer, as its global partner for home EV charging solutions.

  • Under this partnership, Fisker will offer its customers Wallbox home EV chargers for purchase through their website in the US, Canada, and European markets from November 2022. The Pulsar Plus charger will be available to the North American market while the Pulsar Max charger will be available in seven European countries including the UK, Germany, and France.

  • Wallbox will provide home installation services in Europe while COIL, which was recently acquired by Wallbox, will provide the service in the US and Canada.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Fisker is currently carrying out final testing of its Fisker Ocean prototypes with plans to launch the product in November 2022 . Wallbox has also had an active year with the company acquiring ARES Electronics, a provider of printed circuit boards, and beginning construction of its first US manufacturing facility with a capacity of 250,000 units in Q2 2022. Furthermore, similar to its partnership with Fisker, Wallbox also partnered with Nissan in June 2022 to provide Pulsar Plus home EV chargers to Nissan EV owners in the US from July 2022 onwards.
