CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, has announced its intent to acquire the Israel-based external attack surface management (EASM) startup Reposify for an undisclosed amount which is reported to be more than ten million dollars. The transaction will mainly be funded in cash and partly in CrowdStrike shares. The deal is expected to close by October this year.
Founded in 2017, Reposify scans the internet infrastructure of an organization to detect and eliminate any risks arising from exposed assets that are centralized or remote across on-premise, cloud, etc. Reposify leverages its proprietary algorithm and a large database of internet-facing assets to provide organizations with a comprehensive view of their external attack surface with a click of a button.
Reposify’s platform will enhance CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence, security, and IT operations product suites. Reposify’s EASM platform will be integrated with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to deliver a comprehensive view of an organization’s risks and vulnerabilities across internal and external attack surfaces.
Analyst QuickTake: This is CrowdStrike’s second acquisition of a cybersecurity startup in less than a year, following the acquisition of the data security startup SecureCircle in November 2021.
