Devo, a cloud-native logging and security analytics company, has acquired the security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) startup LogicHub for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2016, LogicHub provides extended detection and response (XDR) solutions that automate incident response across the entire threat lifecycle. The company’s AI-based Autonomous Detection and Response Assistant (AuDRA) provides guided no-code playbook creation capabilities to security teams. The company also has an R&D lab in India.
LogicHub’s patented decision automation technology will enhance Devo’s cloud-native logging and security analytics platform, SciSec with a complete SaaS stack of SOC capabilities required for an autonomous Security Operation Center (SOC) which provides complete visibility, automation, analytics, and access to expertise and content.
Analyst QuickTake: This acquisition is the company’s second buy in five months. Devo Technology acquired the threat detection and response startup Kognos in April this year. Two months later, the company raised USD 100 million in Series F funding at a USD 2 billion valuation. The acquisition of LogicHub also aligns with two of the planned utilization of these Series F proceeds–to accelerate the delivery of its autonomous SOC and to invest in new M&A expansion. Devo Technology has also indicated that it's Series F could most likely be its last funding round before it looks at going public via an initial public offering in the next 12 to 24 months.
