Sendinblue, an all-in-one marketing platform, acquired Yodel.io, an Austrian cloud-based phone system provider, for an undisclosed amount. This marks the company’s fifth acquisition in the past 12 months.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen Sendinblue’s suite of solutions through the integration of Yodel.io’s proprietary phone system, enable additional customer touchpoints, and reduce the overall digital marketing spend for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It also plans to continue to expand its presence across North America, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and Latin America. By Q2 2023 all existing and future solutions of Yodel.io will be made available under the Sendinblue brand.
Yodel.io offers an AI-powered digital receptionist that pre-qualifies inbound phone calls to a centralized interface via its integration with Slack and Salesforce. The platform, which is also available on mobile, features an intelligent voice response (IVR) system, multi-device management, a virtual phone system, and supports desk phones, unlimited concurrent calls, and text messaging services. Its customers include DoorDash, cashpresso, NBCUniversal, Swat.io, and MindMeister.
