myTU, a Lithuanian digital bank serving B2C and B2B segments, raised EUR 5 million (USD 4.8 million) in seed funding led by a group of angel investors.
The company aims to use the fresh capital towards product development, marketing, and further improve its marketplace, which connects customers to service providers in the hospitality, travel, entertainment, and gaming industries.
Formed in 2019, myTU began as a travel-focused fintech and expanded into mobile banking for retail customers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company claims to be experiencing more than 1,000 daily downloads of its mobile app across countries in the European Economic Areas.
