Analyst QuickTake: Hemp is an ingredient that isn’t used much in the plant-based dairy space compared to other alternatives such as soy, almond, and oats. Compared to other non-dairy options, hemp milk contains more protein, healthy fats, and all essential amino acids. Hemp milk is produced by blending water and seeds from the hemp (Cannabis Sativa) plant resulting in an earthy, nutty flavor, and a creamy consistency.
