 <p>Tandem Diabetes Care, a diabetes care management and insulin pump manufacturer based in California, has raised its previous convertible senior note offering of USD 250 million to USD 275 million. The private placement has been arranged for institutional buyers. </p>
 <p>The notes will mature in 2029, bearing an annual interest rate of 1.50% which will be paid semi-annually. The starting conversion rate is 28.94 of Tandem’s common stock per USD 1,000 on principle, around 27.5% more than the company's latest stock issue. Buyers also have the option to purchase up to USD 41.3 million in principal.</p>
 <p>The funding raised will be used to pay for capped call transactions, buy back USD 246.7 million of the existing convertible notes due in 2025, and purchase roughly USD 30 million of common stock.
