Vance, an India-based neobanking platform, raised USD 5.8 million in seed funding led by Hummingbird Ventures with participation from Global Founders Capital, Y-Combinator, and Soma Capital.
The company aims to use the fresh funds to triple its staff to 30 members and develop new products such as remittances, savings accounts, and investments.
Formed in 2022, Vance aims to offer a global banking platform, which will allow users to manage accounts, exchange currencies, and invest in equities across markets in different countries. The company is currently accepting sign-ups to join its waitlist and aims to launch its products in the UAE and the UK in 2022, with plans to expand to five additional countries in Q1 2023.
