TerraCycle, a consumer products recycling company, has partnered with Stanley Black & Decker, a US-based manufacturer of industrial tools and household hardware, to launch a recycling program that encourages customers to recycle their home appliances and tools containing lithium-ion batteries. 

The partnership offers three recycling programs under the Stanley Black & Decker name, namely Tool Free Recycling Program (for industrial tools recycling), Home Free Recycling Program (for home appliances recycling), and Lithium Battery Free Recycling Program (recycling of tools and appliances with integrated batteries). Customers can ship the respective items to TerraCycle for recycling via mail using a prepaid shipping label.

The programs cover all products under the Stanley Black & Decker brand portfolio including black+decker, Dewalt, Craftsman, Stanley, porter-cable, Irwin, Lenox, mac tools, and Bostitch.
