Trash Warrior raises USD 8 million in pre-Series A funding

Funding

  • Trash Warrior, a San Francisco-based on-demand waste management solutions company, has raised USD 8 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by AltaR Capital. New investors include Amino Capital, Operator Partners, and Vermilion Ventures. Existing investors including Primavera Capital and Sand Hill Angels also participated in the round.

  • The funds will be used to build a comprehensive database on waste diversion for each waste stream across all zip codes in the US, improve the company’s technology, hire new talent, and strengthen its sales and marketing teams.

  • Analyst QuickTake : Trash Warrior previously raised USD 1.2 million in pre-seed funding, also led by AltaR Capital, which was used for expansion purposes. The company primarily plans to strengthen its presence within the US by partnering with recycling centers to expand its network of service providers. Thus far, the company’s main B2B clients include Amazon, Tuft & Needle, Holiday Inn, and Weee.
