OTTO Motors, a Canadian provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMR), has released a software upgrade that improves the speed and predictability of its autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
The upgrade, which improves the speed by as much as ten percent for OTTO 1500, includes a graph-based planner that improves robot path planning, the ability to detect small objects on the ground from a distance, a feature that triggers robots to localize on their own, and a visual programming editor that allows user to instruct robots without the need to write codes.
