Cyolo, a zero-trust network security provider for IT and OT, received an undisclosed amount from IBM Ventures. Cyolo’s total funding following this round stands at nearly USD 85 million.
The funds will be used to accelerate its market presence.
In addition to this, both Cyolo and IBM Ventures will collaborate on working towards go-to-market initiatives, which include establishing new partner engagements and panel sessions to accelerate the market adoption of identity-based connectivity for digital firms. IBM will provide its cybersecurity expertise and technical resources to support Cyolo’s Zero Trust Secure Access platform.
Analyst QuickTake: The latest investment comes three months after Cyolo raised USD 60 million in Series B funding led by National Grid Partners, with participation from IBM Ventures. One of the planned uses of the funding proceeds was to expand its technology alliances.
