Everactive releases batteryless IoT development kit targeting third-party developers

Product updates

  • Everactive, a provider of sensor-based solutions for machine health monitoring and steam trap monitoring in factories, announced the launch of its first development kit to allow third-party developers to build their IoT products.

  • The development kit includes two Everactive batteryless IoT devices which come with a sensor suite that simultaneously measures parameters like temperature, humidity, pressure, and triaxial acceleration to wirelessly transmit data every 15 seconds.

  • So far Everactive’s batteryless solutions have been deployed in a handful of applications with over 15,000 connected devices. By allowing third-party developers to use this technology, the company will be able to expand its product portfolio.

  • Everactive plans to start shipping the development kits in November and is currently accepting orders.
