Swapt, a marketing automation startup that provides a solution for gathering offline customer data via QR codes to create customized marketing experiences, has raised USD 550,000 in a pre-seed round led by Perkins Cove Partners with participation from Asymmetric Capital Partners. The funding round also saw the participation of Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen, the co-founders of Klaviyo, an email and SME marketing platform.
The firm plans to use the funding for further product development, which includes creating more advanced automation and deeper analytics.
Founded in April 2022, Swapt offers a B2B SaaS platform that can generate QR codes to capture offline user data at scale. The platform can be integrated with several Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and provides code analytics, geo-location data, and aggregated customer data to acquire and engage with new and existing customers. The firm’s customers include Matteo, Lightly, Crown, Outerknown, and Soso.
