The Kraft Heinz Not Company LLC, a joint venture established in February 2022 between Kraft Heinz and NotCo, announced the launch of NotCheese American-style plant-based slices.
The animal-free cheese made using NotCo’s unique AI platform along with water, coconut oil, modified corn starch, and chickpea protein as its main ingredients, will debut in a limited launch in Cleveland, Ohio across 30 supermarkets in November 2022, with a nationwide rollout planned for 2023, featuring American, Provolone, and Cheddar flavor options.
The partnership also hinted at the development of a vegan mayonnaise product—expected to roll out in 2023—along with additional products in the pipeline.
