Valence Security, an application security company, has raised USD 25 million in a Series A funding round led by Microsoft’s M12 venture fund with participation from YL Ventures, Porsche Ventures, Akamai Technologies, Alumni Ventures, and Michael Fey (former president of Symantec). Valence Security’s total funding currently stands at USD 32 million.
The funds will be utilized to accelerate its programs in the US and the growth of its go-to-market and R&D teams.
Valence Security currently has an employee headcount of 25 in Israel. The company’s Series A funding comes exactly a year after it exited stealth in October 2021 with USD 7 million in seed funding led by YL Ventures.
