XR content creation company Yoom raises USD 15 million

Funding

  • Yoom, an Israel-based company, raised USD 15 million from notable investors, including Jimmy Iovine (co-founder, Interscope Records, and Beats Electronics), Finneas O’Connell, Maverick Carter (CEO, The SpringHill Company), and Paul Wachter (Founder and CEO, Main Street Advisors). The company also revealed that it has inked several partnerships related to product development with some of the participating investors. The round brings the company’s total funding to USD 50 million.

  • The fresh funds will be used to expand its team and invest in research and development.

  • Yoom,  formerly known as Tetavi, uses AI and its proprietary neural networks and volumetric capture to create immersive and photorealistic digital content and experiences. Its focus is on music, entertainment, gaming, sports, and pop culture. It also plans to establish location-based entertainment services in the future.
