Attain, a commerce data platform, raised USD 25 million in Series B funding led by Mercato Partners, with the participation of Core Innovation Capital, Starting Line, Motivate Venture Capital, and Silicon Valley Bank.
The firm plans to use the funding to launch its software-as-a-service (SaaS) commerce data platform for marketers. The funding will also be used to double its headcount (~70 at present) within the next 12 months in the areas of sales, product engineering, and marketing as well as to support R&D to enable deeper data collection from more users.
Attain provides a platform for marketers to access consented consumer data to provide insights to create personalized marketing experiences. The data is gathered via its Klover app, a financial services app that provides discounts and loyalty points for 400 million users that share their data. The firm claims that the initial product offering of its commerce data platform would include an insights solution, enabling marketers to understand consumer purchasing behavior, and financial services needs using data derived from the Klover app. The beta launch for the product is scheduled for January 2023 and wide release is set for mid-2023. The firm claims that marketers that have used its solutions include HBO max, Uber, Coca-Cola, Tacobell, and Walgreens.
The firm also announced the rebranding of its parent company and its data platform from Klover to Attain. The firm’s Klover app will retain the Klover branding.
