H2Pro joins forces with Gaia Energy to develop a green hydrogen project

Partnerships

  • H2Pro, an Israeli green hydrogen startup, entered into a strategic partnership with Gaia Energy, an African renewable energy company, to co-develop a gigawatt scale green hydrogen project.

  • The collaboration allows Gaia Energy to use a range of 20–40 MW scale H2Pro’s Electrochemical—Thermally Activated Chemical (E-TAC) electrolyzer technology for a pilot project in Morocco. Meanwhile, Gaia Energy will also explore H2Pro’s technology at gigawatt scale under development by Gaia Energy within the Kingdom.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In August 2022 , H2Pro entered into a strategic agreement with Doral Energy, a renewable energy provider listed on Israel’s Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, to supply 200 MW of H2Pro’s E-TAC electrolyzers, for projects across Europe, the US, and Israel. In March 2022, H2Pro announced the deployment of its 600MW production facility (F1) in the Tzipporit industrial zone in Israel, with plans to operationalize in late 2023.
