Wib raises USD 16 million in funding

Funding

  • Wib, an Israel-based API security startup, has raised USD 16 million in a funding round led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) with participation from Kmehin Ventures, Venture Israel, Techstars, and existing investors.

  • The funds will be utilized to enhance its platform and accelerate international growth across America, the UK, and EMEA.

  • Founded in 2021, Wib provides complete visibility and control across the entire API lifecycle, from code to production. The platform automates inventory and API change management, identifies rogue and shadow APIs, analyzes business risk and impact, and delivers real-time inspection and control. The company operates in Israel, the US, and the UK.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This funding round comes two months after KDT led the USD 40 million Series C round of the Israel-based managed detection and response (MDR) startup CYREBRO in September.
