Sierra Space partners with Keystone Space Collaborative to advance space economy and development of Orbital Reef

Partnerships

  • Colorado-based space travel and space launch company Sierra Space, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Keystone Collaborative—a nonprofit organization with a focus on the expansion of the space industry—to support the development efforts of Orbital Reef—the world’s first commercial space station.

  • Further, through this MoU, the companies will work towards advancing the space economy in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia by instigating broader interest in the commercial low earth orbit (LEO) economy and in microgravity research.

  • The partnership will leverage Sierra Space’s platforms along with Keystone’s customer network to develop a pipeline of commercial LEO research and technology along with initial technical payload research for use in commercial space stations such as Orbital Reef.
