Kiliba, a French marketing automation startup specializing in email marketing, raised EUR 7 million (~USD 7.2 million) in a seed round led by Bleu Capital, FrenchFounders, and Otium Capital.
Launched in 2020, Kiliba leverages AI and machine learning to automatically write and launch email marketing campaigns. The firm also provides a product recommendation engine where it automatically sends targeted ads based on consumer behavior. At present, the firm primarily caters to eCommerce vendors in Europe and has 400+ users including Well, Pyrenex, Nat & Nin, and Hawaii Surf.
The funding is earmarked to expand the technical integrations of its solution where it can be integrated with content management systems (CMS) to automatically create customized email templates. In line with this, the firm plans to recruit more data scientists and sales representatives.
