Attabotics raises USD 71.7 million in Series C-1 funding

Funding

  • Attabotics, a Canadian provider of automated micro-fulfillment and warehousing solutions, raised USD 71.7 million in a Series C-1 funding round led by Export Development Canada (EDC) with participation from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. The round brings the company’s total funding to USD 165.1 million.

  • The funds will be used to accelerate the commercialization of its 3D robotics warehousing solutions.

  • Based in Canada, Attabotics is a developer of automated warehousing solutions that uses vertical structures instead of the rows and aisles of a typical warehouse, deploying 3D robots to retrieve items from the vertical structures when needed. Inspired by the build of ant colonies, the solution claims to require 85% less space than traditional fulfillment warehouses. Attabotics serves the US and Canada.
