ArmorCode, an application security startup, has raised USD 14 million in a Series A funding round led by Ballistic Ventures with participation from Sierra Ventures, Cervin, and several angel investors. ArmorCode’s total funding currently stands at nearly USD 25 million.
The funds will be utilized to scale its business.
Since its emergence from stealth in May 2021, ArmorCode recorded a seven-figure annual recurring revenue (ARR) during its first financial year and its revenue doubled in consecutive quarters. The company serves Fortune 100 enterprises.
Founded in 2020, ArmorCode provides application security posture, vulnerability and compliance management (GDPR, SOC2, etc), and development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) workflow automation. The platform provides visibility and orchestration across applications, APIs, and microservices to eliminate blind spots.
Analyst QuickTake: Similarly, Apiiro, also an application security startup, raised USD 100 million in a Series B funding round led by General Catalyst during this month. Apiiro also announced that it expects to achieve a USD 10 billion valuation within the next two years.
