Peaze, an embedded non-custodial wallet provider, raised USD 2.1 million in a pre-seed funding round with participation from Outlander Ventures, VersionOne, Haven Ventures, Mute Ventures, Magic VC, and angel investors Opyn and Avex Capital.
It aims to use the fresh funds towards the development of its infrastructure to increase Web3 user adoption.
Formed in 2021, Peaze offers an embedded non-custodial wallet to allow new users of Web3 to operate on-chain with just a traditional authentication and fiat payment method in contrast to other wallet technology, which requires users to generate a new wallet, on-ramp fiat to the correct cryptocurrency, and define the chain they need to operate on.
The company also announced it is launching its product in closed beta and will be releasing it on a rolling basis.
