Revolut, a UK-based neobank that serves both B2C and B2B segments, announced that it would launch its services in New Zealand over the coming months to complement its existing operations in Australia. In addition, it is also building its team in India with plans to launch its services in the country.
The company also revealed that it is developing a streamlined version of its app, Revolut Lite, which will be available in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East in the coming months, allowing users to transfer money cross-borders instantaneously and for free.
As of November 2022, Revolut had a retail customer base of over 25 million and it claimed that ~2,000 new business customers are now joining Revolut Business every week.
