Vezgo, a Canada-based provider of Web3 data integration services via APIs, raised USD 750,000 in a pre-seed funding round with venture investments from Bitnomic Capital, Flinks Technologies, M2S Capital, Chouinard Family Office, and angel investors Andrew Izyumov (ex-Goldman Sachs) and Rachid Ajaja (AllianceBlock Founder and CEO).
The company aims to use the fresh funds to accelerate growth and add new features to its product “Unified Crypto API,” which enables companies to integrate customer crypto accounts to their app and also integrate other customer Web3 data from centralized exchanges, wallets, NFTs, and blockchains.
Following the funding round, the company also seeks to develop its go-to-market sales team to scale the number of paying customers to reach over 50 by the year-end.
Formed in 2022, Vezgo is a spin-off from Wealthica, an aggregation platform that allows investors to connect all their banking and investment accounts in one online dashboard. Vezgo aims to help Web2 fintech companies such as taxes, insurance, compliance, audit, and assurance, bridging the gap into Web3 in a compliant way.
